Rattly exhaust

Dear All

The exhaust on my ZT190 is getting rattly (hoping/assuming it's the exhaust hangars).
Caused by appalling road I have to travel along to pick and drop off a friend most week days.

What are the various rubber items which I will have to replace?

Cheers

Andrew

Items 9 and 13 on here : https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001949
The rear box rubbers are much thicker than many "other brand" replacements so it is worth paying the extra :}:shrug: This is a very heavy exhaust .
Noise usually comes from the pipes hitting the 3 cross members which bridge the "transmission tunnel " , or from the rear box swinging sideways . Sometimes loosening the clamps and realigning the system can help , especially if you've just had a system fitted by Bodgit exhausts ! :}

Rattles are usually heat shields or loose baffles. Gentle thumps that seem to be coming from just behind the driver's seat are the sound of the pipe hitting the cross member. If you haven't recently replaced the rear box then you could try new rubbers (remember to equip yourself with a nice big jar of vaseline). If you have then make sure the pipe is whacked really hard into the rear box connection (large mallet recommended). I've cured the thumping on mine like this and the system now hangs very close to the rear anti roll bar but doesn't touch it.
