I've heard the Halfords heavy duty one is good for the price. Every cover I try seems to cause problems though.

I bought one from Halfords for my ZTT. It's fleece lined and has 4 adjustable air vents, held in place by Velcro. There are 3 straps that pass under the car and have adjustable plastic clips that plug into the corresponding clips on the smaller straps on the other side.

To get the straps to pass under the car I tie a small plastic bottle filled with water which I throw under the car. Walk round and then pull the bottle out with the strap. Click it into place and repeat the procedure twice more.

I have a Stormforce cover that I have used outdoors on my Dolomite. I had to use it over winter after my garage flooded due to a spring moving and coming out of the hillside into the garage. The car was able to dry out outside but not in the garage.

It has two straps which kept it on but didn't stop the cover lifting off the boot or bonnet in high winds. It has a soft inner surface that has not caused any scratching and seems to repel rain water ok. Worryingly I regularly found a covering of damp on the car under the cover after heavy rain and high humidity. This suggest to me that the claims that it breaths to allow the car to dry is a bit of an exaggeration. It would dry out eventually but would be a worry.

Once my new garage with a new retaining wall behind it was built to help divert the spring the Dolomite moved back into it and now I still use the cover in the garage to keep the dust off.

Lifting off the car and damp underneath are problems I had as well. One even did damage. I havent bothered since. Havent tried the Halfords one though!
