Highline sat nav radio volume lowers itself

It's a tourer 75. We retrofitted a highline system, but still having some (many :getmecoat:) issues.

Problem : when the engine is running the radio sound goes down itself fast. I manually raise the volume, but again it goes down to zero.

Also the controls of volume/mode/>>/<< on stearing wheel does not work.

Another interesting fact, is that there was no wire which is responsible for automatic volume control (such exists, right?) in the main highline wiring loom. I've tried setting the AVC in menu to 1/2/3/4 but that did not help.

Could be as simple as a faulty steering control unit. Try disconnecting it and try using it then.

Late reply, but, yeah you're right :) It is faulty, disconnecting it helped. Thanks.
