"Alternative" lights for R75

I haven't called these lights L*x*s in the thread title as the word immediately conjures all types of chavmobiles.

Anyhoo, I know the topic about the suitability of other lights for the R75 has been done to death, but I have just fitted some to my black 75. Apologies for the poor pics - they were taken in a hurry from inside the house:

I think they smarted up and modernise the rear end. While they might not suit all 75s, am I alone in thinking they look well on my black CDTi?

Note: Mods, please don't ban me for what some would see as sacrilege . I promise I will not add go-fast stripes, spinner alloys etc. Maybe door finishers and a premium bumper :drool4:

I think they look pretty good myself.
Is that a detachable towbar you have on it, or fixed.

No my cup of tea unfortunately, in my opinion rovers should look as though they have just come of the production line and the exterior looking all original, but having said that Nice Lights.;)

Hate them personally. No offence of course, it'd be boring if everyone liked the same things!

Might make a bit more visual sense in the context of the car more generally - do you have any 3/4 shots from a bit further back so we can see how they go with the rest of the car?

Personally I think they look too 'fussy'.
But it's your car, if you like them then wear them with pride :)

Rapid6, what you can do is make sure you buy the original MGR wiring kit for your car, along with the extra cable which connects it all to the loom - strange thet you couldn't buy it all in one go!

This is so important as the original kit cuts out the reversing sensors, used the dashboard lights to show the indicators are working (so that's 2 lots of unnecessary noises you can avoid) and means if a trailer light stops working, it tells you on the dash display (if you have it). My non-original wiring iritates me every time I reverse with the caravan or indicate to change direction.

So, original electrics, that's what you can do! I know that's not what you meant in your post, but wanted to advise in case you hadn't picked that up from other threads on the subject.

Hope that helps, Steve
