Rusty bolts!
 

Can anyone tell me if there is anywhere I can buy a set of stainless or plated wheel bolts to fit my 75 Tourer as the original fitment ones apart from the security bolts have all gone rusty and look a mess!

If I can't buy what I want I may buy a new set of original bolts then get them galvanized

Think he means the rest of the bolts, not the lockers Mike, He may want a set of new high quality lockers as well.

Sorry can't help personally with your request, a lot of us have installed plastic chrome wheel nut covers, generally available on ebay.
I have these and the Nitrous gear lockers, they do look a treat.
If you want to replace your bolts anyway, they are available from Rimmers or Xpart, about 87p each.

I'd be tempted to try a BMW dealer as the 75/ZT share the same BMW fitment.

Chrome wheel bolts
 

Hi sylvester. The locking bolts from nitrousgear are TUV & Thatcham approved & come with chrome caps. Superb & a bargain at £15.99.
For the other 16 bolts you will need, the simplest and probably cheapest way is with the original bolts (cleaned up on grindstone wire wheel is fine) and a set of plastic, chromed bolt caps. I put some copper grease inside when fitting.

Beware of chromed bolts and get an assurance that they are not brittle. The chroming does that and a special process is required to de-brittle them. To chrome and de-brittle I was quoted about £4 per bolt by a firm in Letchworth.
Don't forget with chromed bolts you can easily damage the chrome with a normal socket but nylon lined ones are supposed to be available. 17mm.
Vauxhall have plastic caps in aluminium & black finish (for SRi I think)

Evening Dave. When you approach the passenger side just close one eye that'll do the trick, otherwise take the other one off then nobody will know. They'll just think you own 2 cars. ;)

Oops silly me so the Nitrous kits are only locking bolts? I thought they were full sets and have been telling people on XPF the same thing

I would be inclined to go for Chrome caps then on the rest once fitted are they on tight? What do you use to get them off? Do they come with a little removal tool or anything?

The ones I have are a very good fit you cannot remove them without the appropriate tool. They come with one but I have a slightly more robust one from my computer repair kit.
