UBP emptying prior to storage.
Just bought a good secondhand pierburg under-bonnet-pump which arrived yesterday to be put away in the spares bin.
I can hear diesel still sloshing around in it so what's the best way to empty it prior to putting it in storage ? Thank you. |

Would it be best to cap the ends while diesel is inside to keep the internals lubricated? Old diesel could be emptied prior to fitting when needed.
