Which mobile network are you on and why?

Following on from another thread that was spiraling off topic I was just wondering which mobile network people are on and why? How is it for voice coverage, data rates and customer service for instance?

Was with T-Mobile for years and recently upgraded to EE. Also upgraded my wifes T-Mobile into my package with EE. Got a much better package for the both of us, and at less money than individual contracts too.

Don't have any issue with voice, data or internet coverage with the package (but then I didn't with the T-Mobile one either) :D

I have been looking for a pay-as-you-go contract free micro sim for my recently acquired iPad cellular tablet ;) I have not bought a SIM card as yet and will be interested in what the fellow members have to say. Many thanks for asking the question :} I travel between different countries and cannot afford to get into a contract.

Phil, have a look at mobidata in the UK they piggyback on 3 but have cheap costings when roaming, not sure about Africa though.

I'm currently on their basic £4.95/month/1gb tariff for my tablet after previously being on 3 pay and go.

To answer the question posed by the thread I'm on o2 pay and go but add one of their bundles as and when needed. Service I receive is fine for calls/texts, data can be sketchy in some areas but then I've normally my tablet with me as well.

Thank you Jim for thinking about me :} I checked out the link and they do not go to Africa as yet. It is not a problem swapping SIM cards over in Kenya and in ZA. Back in the old days, I had a a contract with Vodafone and how the roaming charges in foreign parts rocketed to a ridiculous amount.

I'm on GiffGaff payg, pay £7.50 per month, get 200 UK minutes, unlimited texts and 250Mb of data which I never use.

May cut it down to £5 per month.

Plus a few of my friends are on GiffGaff which is free for calls and texts, which is very handy especially the ones who like to chat...lol
