Set of Crowns Wanted
 

Hi all:lol:,

I realise I'm in a minority on this, but I really like the look of the 15" Crowns, as I think they complement the 75's retro styling.
Hence I'm looking for a set, cheap, or who knows maybe even in free, in at least good to very good condition, with or without tyres.

Reading through previous posts it seems a fair few members have upgraded to 16", 17" and 18", so I'm hoping someone has a set cluttering up their garage somewhere. I'm in Lancaster, and as long as it's not too far I can collect, to take the hassle out of things at your end.

I think Messenger is way down in Berks, so a bit of a drive if I were to collect. I think I'll wait a while and see what else comes up first.

Hi All,

Picked up my set of 5 crowns yesterday from member Simonsmith in York.
The wheels were in great condition, and all 5 had good tires on them.

Isn't it nice when things turn out to be even better than you expected!

Simon had time for a chat and showed me the interior of his tourer, complete with all the walnut trimmings - very nice indeed. Many thanks!
