Erisin vs Xtrons - your thoughts please

I am looking to replace my Android 8 unit with a Android 10 one. I have two in mine one made my Erisin

and the other by Xtrons

They seem to both have the same front display but totally different behind. The Erisin looks a newer style with the Xtrons looking as if its use an old DVD chassis.

I realise the difference in price is because the Erisin has a lower spec in terms of CPU, but it does come with CarPlay and DAB+ included which the Xtrons is extra.

Is the Xtrons almost twice the price for extra core and RAM/ROM??

I am not sure about the Erisin but I do know that xTrons makes decent units. If price is of importance, buy the Erisiin and see if it meets your expectations. If not you can always sell it to a BMW E46 owner

Well when I do replace it there will be a Xtrons Android 8 unit for sale if anyone wants it.
