Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor

Every now and again the engine coughs and splutters.
What I've been doing is disconnecting the connector from the fuel rail and spraying it with contact cleaner.
This works for week maybe then it happens again. Been doing this for a few months now.
Has any member got any idea what it could be?
If it's the sensor has anyone took it off and cleaned it?
Any help WILL be gratefully received

Sometime it can be a fine break in the wiring which works intermittently?

Had same trouble on an injector plug but soon cured with a small flat head jewelers screwdriver to tweak the connectors closed a little to make sure there is good electrical connection. Geezer i bought the car off had tie straps around that plug lol to force it in NO NEED!
