Just noticed my headliner has started sagging at the front back to the middle.

Not noticed it before so it's a recent thing as I last drove the car 5 days ago (glue just suddenly let go? :shrug:).

Is there a simple fix folks?

There are bodges including pinning it up or trying to inject glue but the only real way to do it is replace the fabric. Best recommendation I've seen for the cloth is from Martrim, Range Rover headliner kit in oatmeal. The cloth is foam backed and the kit includes adhesive.

It's and age thing - I believe most just learn to live with it! ;)

We've not long had to do the ZT. Once it starts it doesn't seem to want to stop!

We used some dark-ish grey suede-like material for £30, unfortunately it was quite thin (2mm) and creased too easily. But didn't look bad for a first attempt. One of the spray glue cans turned out to be no good though (was a bit old), so it has started to sag again where that was used...

Hardest part was getting the board in and out of the car without bending it too much and scraping it on the interior trim.

Might give it another go if the weather improves in July...and I'll look at the Range Rover material posted above to see if it's a better colour match.

West of England cloth might be a nice and more plush alternative? I think Jules used it for his gorgeous blue example.

This has just happened on my 45,biggest problem is that if I drive with any of the windows open it flaps all over the place.It'n not a job I particularly want to tackle.Does anyone know of a trader/specialist offering a replacement service?

apparently the "facelift "models were the worst ... :D

From my experience, it is the backing that breaks down, so I think that the solutions are either replace the lining or use a spray adhesive which will bond the backing to the lining. I've successfully used the spray impact adhesive on a small area but I'm not sure if it will hold a larger area.
