Please excuse a moment of reflection on my part..
Tonight marks the exact 10th year since the death of our son, Stefan. He was 28.
The reason that I am posting this is because we are a long way from home, in central Spain, and not able to be with any old friends. We are, however, tonight staying in a 15th century castle with a really peaceful atmosphere and I realised during a period of quiet contemplation, that I can be with the friends that I have made on here, both real and virtual. I'm not looking for any sympathy but perhaps just spare a thought tonight... |
You and your beloved are in my thoughts Bernard....
I will be raising a glass to you and your family tonight Mr B.
Glad that you thought of us - I'm sure that many here will be thinking of you and your family.
I lost my son at a young age too. My thoughts are with you tonight, may all your memories be happy ones
My sympathy gos to you and your family anyway,i can't imagine what it must be like to loose a offspring.
you in my opinion have been through the hardest and worst thing any parent could go through and hope i never have to. just spent 10 minutes trying to think of something profound to say but what can any one say, raise a glass and have a peaceful night and all our thoughts are with you.
Mick and Cath and kids |
Thinking of you both this evening Bernard

Thinking of you and raising a Glass to you both and the happy memories that you shared.
My best wishes to you all.
Your Son I am sure will be missed by many that he knew. In that you are all thinking within the same on a day that matters. |
