Morning,
Does? or could? Simon manufacture a walnut handbrake cover/sleeve? at a (more?) reasonable price? Regards David |
Hunt the forum, I think a member did in fact make of offer to make a sleeve.
As for reasonable price, how many are for sale? If there were 10 for sale, 9 and £200 and 1 for £80 would the £80 sleeve become reasonable? These are rare, very rare and so command a premium price. I don't know if reasonable comes into play but more what someone is willing to pay. macafee2 |
I’ve just purchased one of the £80 ones from eBay. It’s absolutely excellent. A good match and quality item. The fitment was that snug I didn’t even have to glue it in place.
You’ll not find a better second hand one... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3017400f7c.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The only proviso I would make is that I found it to be a very tight fit and could imagine it would be very easy to split one whilst fitting if you're not careful. As with RoverRobson, I used no glue or adhesive tape and it is a solid, snug fit. https://live.staticflickr.com/4431/3...f8c8ace5_b.jpg Cliff |
