satnav disc player
 
Hi all
my satnav disc player doesn't turn off so if pluged in drains the battery so is there fix

Fix your water leak 1st and then either repair or replace! ;)

Depends on how wet and how long.....there is a how to showing how to open it and clean it, but chances are its BER

Hi guys thanks for your help, ive sorted the leak, it was coming from the side window seal ( my car is the tourer ) I don't think that the unit got very wet just a couple of drops of water on the top of it, is there any body on here who repairs them, I'd also like to get the MG screen saver put on

Might just be that the unit is trying to eject the disk, but it has got stuck. It will keep trying to do this until it kills your battery, at least that what mine was doing. Same thing happened to mine. Managed to get it out by taking the unit out and taking it apart and manually removing the disk. Once apart, I clean it all up and disk ejects okay now and unit turns off. Problem now is my disk is scratched :mad:
