Naval 3 problems

I have had my Naval for over 3 years with little or no problems. This week it has been telling me there are no tunes on the memory card and then today the Sat nav will not load. I tried a reset on the front and as that didn't work I disconnected the battery for a couple of hours and that didn't work either.

Any ideas?

I don't really want to do a factory reset as I will loose everything and have to start again.

Do I need to clear anything or reload something?

Thanks

Have you tried a different SD card to eliminate the possibility that your other music one is faulty, I had similar problems and when I took card out, cleaned it and put it back it worked, worth a try.

I have had 2 of these units and both have been temperamental and unpredictable at times with various odd faults

Thanks. My son had a fiddle with it today. He has managed to get the music to play by clearing the cache but he uninstalled the I go software and reinstalled it and it worked and then would not reload again until he uninstalled and reloaded it again. He reckons maybe the memory card for that is knadged.

So here we go again, what satnav software are people using these days preferably with traffic info. I do like Igo as I find some of the others are either clunky or the buttons and words are too small on the screen.

I am using iGo on my Xtrons but have been playing around with Sygic. Quite a decent companion on the road. It doesn't beat iGo but which nav app ever could ;)

Greetz,
