Sadly a lot of cars end like this because of there value. A mate who buys and sells cars will often scrap a cheap part ex because it is less hassle. If he sells it by law he has to give a warranty.
He does sell some to mates as sold as seen if he thinks they are too good to scrap but only a couple of weeks ago he sent a Jag for scrap as it had problems, needed an MOT and the scrappy gave him £250. |

Having had a few, I'd say those 400s/45s probably had front chassis rot, by time you spy it they are usually too far gone. The 400s definitely lasted better than the later 45s
