Want To Check The Spec Of Your MG ZT?

To help members correctly identify the precise trim level of their vehicle, I have compiled an exhaustive list of factory options specific to each model of car.

If you want to check the Spec of the Rover 75 and not the ZT Click Here

I now present the “standard” fit for The MG ZT Base Model, + Model, & SE Model……..however, as most of you know, our cars were almost infinitely adaptable at build level depending on what the customer ordered, so your particular vehicle may not perfectly match the standard spec, but at least you’ll discover what extra bits were asked for over and above the basic model.

I feel all left out, did MG think the 120 not worth bothering with?

Sorry Gary, I forgot to type ZT 120 at the begining of the list of standard equipment. (Fixed now ;) )

Your particular 120+ is actually very well spec'd I see, with Driver Intelligence Pack, Sunroof, and 5 Spoke Alloys, which were unique to the 120, so no need to feel left out.

Couple of points:

Mk1 carried on into 04 (my MK1 is an "04" reg)

Did the 190 have an "uprated chassis"? Thought it was just the bigger brakes / better engine...

Also - prices of the options? Was wondering what my cars RRP was (2004 ZT+ 135, Drivers intelligence pack, Cruise & full size spare)

Point taken about the 04 Mk1 & Mk2 overlap, brochures relate to facelift only, but how does your Mk1 compare spec wise then, does it fit more in the facelift spec than the Mk1?

As regards the 190 uprated chassis, I'm quoting the 2004 brochure which says both 190 & 260, but it could be a typo by MGR.

As for prices, check out my other thread, halfway down for the ZT prices ;)

Mine is just a MK1, can't see any features that could of come from a MK2.

Comission number is 19888, would be interested to here how close she was to become a face-**** :p

Very interesting thread. I didn't realise there was an upgrade pack for the SE model, I thought everything was standard.

Mine must have cost nigh on 30k when new with those extras! :}

richardwjackson 22nd May 2010 07:52

...think I have to disagree with you on something though.

Traction control wasn't standard on the 190 SE - mine ain't got it! :D

Yep, your right, gone back to the brochures, and it was only included as part of the SE spec for ZT 260's, so for all other cars (like my facelift 180 SE - with SE Pack) it was an additional cost option.

Thanks for pulling me up on that one, thread amended :o
