Rear Seats Tourer

Hi Guy’s
Couple of things I need help with.
Needed to remove the rear seat on my tourer. Got to the stage of removing squab and trying to remove seatbelt anchor point to get squab out of the car.
So first question, what size is the Torx bolt? Biggest I’ve got is a T45 and whilst its not a million miles away seems a little lose and as the bolt is seized solid I’m concerned if it is slightly small it will round the bolt off and I’ll end up with a world of pain. I’m assuming bolt goes outside body and its rusted.
When doing this I discovered water in one of the recesses in the floor pressing under rear seat squab.
Any obv’s areas that leak could be coming from? Hopefully once the seats are fully out I maybe able to trace it but any guidance might be helpful. No we carpets or seats and not a huge amount of water so its not currently obvious.

Cheers Bean

Hi keith.
I think its a T50 and yes it goes through the body of the car, you can get to the thread from under the car if you needed to spray some plus gas on it, in the mean time thread the seat belt through the squab and rest the seat upright so you can check out the cause that way.

Hi Arctic

Yep think you may be right. T45 feels just that bit loose but not having a T50 couldn't check.
