Dad participated in meets for a number of years , usually events within the Yorkshire and North Linc's ,or the North east area, He met a lot of members over the year ‘s and usually travelled with Ricardo 65 or occasionally myself. He enjoyed the meets wherever he went .
Sadly Dad lost his zest for life after we lost mum last November , He attended a couple of Water wheel breakfast meets back end of last year ,but unfortunately wasn’t well enough to attend one of his high lights of the year The East Kirkby Meet , Sadly he passed away on Friday evening Dad’s real passion was his tractor and pleased to say I managed to get him to finish leading a charity tractor run on Sunday 1st of May through tracks on the farm land he worked when I was a child The picture below was taken on Dad's last drive of his tractor On behalf of my self , Ricardo 65 The incredible Ulk and MG Mat thanks for the support, tributes and condolences from club members either on the Forum or private messages |

I attended the funeral of Tractor Ted today and it was an excellent service to a very well respected man who was so proud of all his family
RIP Ted you will be missed by so many of us and remembered for being a great guy to have had the pleasure to know and enjoy your company over the years |
Farewell Ted, if half of the tales he told us were true he was a proper rascal when younger, great glint in his eye when he told his tales so we are pretty sure it was all true ;)

R I P. Ted, a gentleman that will be surely missed by all that new him.
Always looked forward to seeing him for a natter at meets etc, telling me about tractor runs and old times when he was farming. Couldn't wish to meet a nicer gent. Sleep sound old son and keep one eye on those orange tractors. Sincere condolences to all his family. |
