The lady looks lovely. We can see the glow in Caister on Sea!:D I remember my days of boat ownership. It was more expensive and harder work than any of my Rovers! The final straw was new owners at the boatyard/ mooring, when prices almost doubled in a season. They even got angry when I informed them that I had sold my boat and that the new owners were coming to take it away! They reckoned that I should have sold through them (with them getting a commission)!!! Nothing in my non-existent contract said anything of the sort but I wondered how many owners they had conned with that one?

Marinas can be a law unto themselves that's for sure:eek:

Thankfully we have a properly down up contract at our Marina. For the most part we have been more than happy in the five years we have been there.

You are right though, nothing about boat ownership comes cheap.
Having said that, Ros and I don't go on holidays (bit hard with seven cats at home:eek:) so we get to enjoy weekends onboard when we can. Also, when I'm working in Norfolk, I use Lady Emma for board and lodgings as well.
