MG ZT Diesel back box

Would I be right in thinking the ZT Diesel back box has slightly longer tail pipes?

Not sure if they are longer, but I think the ZT has straight pipes and pokes through a cutout in the bumper, and the 75 has curved down pipes which don't touch the bumper. (The tourer has longer pipes from the backbox)

Looking at various ZT diesels I've seen after the factory one has given up the new aftermarket exhausts look to be shorter and sit behind the bumper instead of coming out in the cut out.:duh:

That sounds right.

I'm planning on cutting the hole in my 75 bumper and fitting the trim. However, I don't want my tailpipes hidden , they will need to be a bit longer, hence the question about the ZT box. From what I understand, the diesel pipes have to be downturned. Looks like I'll be going down the custom stainless exhaust route to get the look I'm after.

Obviously being a Rover, they need to be polished stainless . I have already sanded and polished the rear bumper trim so it looks like chrome lol
