I had three, not all four, of mine stolen in the summer. As such things are specific to a particular model, it saddens me to think that another 75/ZT owner may be engaging in such petty theft for the sake of £3.20. I hope that there's another explanation.

I've found the Halfords blanks too small in my opinion. Still looking for some the right size or it could be Suzublu's chrome strip idea employed. :}:p:

Simon - I'm afraid the universal standard and class of the typical Rover driver has been diluted somewhat over the years. There are even those who will stuff a thermostat in an unintended orifice and call it an upgrade. I find the shame of being associated with such people almost unbearable at times.:D:D

This thread just reminded me of something I should have posted> :o

They are a little on the small side as it's possible to see the elongated hole if one looks carefully.

Do you have a top-hose thermostat upgrade? If so, why not go for a matching upgrade on the original blanking caps - silicon bath sealant. :getmecoat:

Originally CNF 100 040 (cap, roof rack blanking) for a set of four but this part number seems to be obsolete now.

Austin Garages is selling DYB 100 121, which is confirmed by X-Part, at £10.95 for a set of five (eBay item no. 193764809783) Why five? These have a marginally bigger overall diameter than the originals. I'd be interested to hear if they are a better fit than the Halfords generic item.

I hope this helps Dave.
