Free Malwarebytes Premium (£49.99) with Nat West

Just checking on line banking with Nat West and tucked away at the bottom of the security page is an offer for Malwarebytes premium RRP £49.99 for free through Nat West.

Up to 10 devices for private user and 15 for professional valid until May 2022 with no obligation to renew unless Nat West decide to pay.

Is this a good program to have on a PC etc?

I've used the free version and found it very good. I think some years ago it was always free?, but of course it is even better now.

I've already shelled out for a Norton product this year, as it included a 'free' vpn, but Malwarebytes is always near my top of the list for pc protection...go for it!

I have the free version on my PC, put there by the Maintainer I use from time to time. You need to choose to run the free version by setting the run time schedule whereas the pro version is live all the time I believe. Look at the Malwarebytes web page.

Well that was easy, clicked on the link on Nat West page that gave me a product code to copy/paste and a second link to download Malwarebytes Premium where I pasted the code in.

694 days protection. full access to all items as far as I can tell.

I use the Premium and it does what it says on the tin.
They often have good deals but not as good as that. Load it on your PC whilst you can

Just a bump, installed and seems a nice bit of kit :)

RBS are part of the same group so they are also making this offer available to their customers.

To be honest Windows Defender which is included for free is as good or better then any third party product. There really is no need to pay money for AV now.

I've found Norton, MacAfee and Kaspersky all disastrous: intrusive and K locked up my machine. Malwarebytes (Free version) I've always found excellent but for 3 years I've stuck with AVG Free and never had any problems. Interface very good, and quick at scanning. Another well worth downloading is Auslogics Disk Defrag (also free) that I run every week: definitely speeds things up. And if you're changing HDD use AOMEI Partition Assistant (free) that will clone your disc. Finally I use Speedfan that gives a thorough examination and report of how your HDD is running.
