"Black Friday"
A lad who works for me has asked for the morning off tomorrow so he can go bargain hunting. Because I am the worlds most amazing boss, I have agreed.
Seems dumb to me, buying things for the sake of buying them, nothing really seems that cheap to me either :shrug: A punch in the gob for a copy of Fifa, or maybe a bit of fisticuffs for a rubbish TV, makes no sense. For anyone who is not aware, here is a video from "Black Friday" in America to give you an idea of the stupidity on show. Who says that people are materialistic? I am going to get a problem with my van fixed in the morning instead now :) |
The video doesn't seem to be working Rich... :o :}

Only used this thing once, and it was for an apple product (notoriously price fixed) ended up with £200 off an iMac, can't sniff at that if it's something your getting anyway.
It also coincides with last real payday before Christmas Simon |
we wanted a particlier new vacume cleaner last year which would have cost £220. the wife got it off amazons black friday deals for £88. ok if its something youve been planning on buying.

Had a call this morning asking if he can come to work. Says there are no bargains to be had as people had got them at 3am and have been queueing at the checkout since then waiting for them to open.
How sad. |
Greedy pathetic people.
Shows the worst in them as well as the stores. Another bad import from the good 'ole USA I suspect? |
I wonder if the bread is reduced? :D
