DVLA Scam !!!!
Hi folks I just checked my email`s and have a dodgy one that says it`s from dvla,it starts with dear ( my email address) your vehicle is no longer taxed.DVLA have been notified electronically about you ( their grammer not mine )) latest payment for your vehicle tax failed because there is not enough money on you debit card.We have generated a new invoice and we suggest you use a credit card instead of a debit to avoid any other consequences that might appear in case again won`t be enough funds inside, yours sincerely Rohan Gye vehicle services manager. This was sent to me at 7.35pm 26/03/2021, and although I have recently taxed a vehicle it is over 40 years old so is free. So just letting anybody know this is doing the rounds among others regards Paul

I've received the same email.
Have a read here.https://www.gov.uk/government/news/d...ts-safe-online There's a link near the end where you can report these.. I did and surprisingly got an email of thanks saying that reporting these emails helps track them down. Cheers Ian |
If you have received an email which you’re not quite sure about, forward it to the Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS): [email protected]
