Look What I Found Under The Bonnet!

Looking under the bonnet of SD's newly acquired CDT and I came across this:

It has never been connected-there are no controls under the console lid :

How very odd-why bother to go to the expense and trouble to install the unit then not connect it up:shrug: Is it a big job to get up and running?

You don't need the control in the cubby box for it to work. If the FBH is working it will come on automatically under 5 degrees C and perform auxiliary heating.

The cubby box control module is if you want to schedule it to com on a a certain time in the morning.

Best option if to fit a remote switching so you can turn it on from inside your home in the winter

Stubs

If I remember rightly the timer and remote control were options, it should still function automatically when below a certain temperature, and the car is running.
There is a thread here somewhere with lots of advice on the FBH including fitting and servicing. Do a search and see what comes up.

Aha! Her it is http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...768#post877768
