Couple of successes
As some of you know my daughter became a fireman... fighter a few months ago. We don't talk much about her job, I'd like to know more.
They went to a car part on its side part on its roof. The watch manager came up with an idea to extract the casualty but she disagreed and offered another method which he accepted and they implemented. Went to a house fire, unable to easily break in via front door and they were pondering their next approach. She crouched down, put the arm through a hole where a side panel had fallen out. Found the front door key in the lock and undid the front door. Being small and with a paramedic back ground she is the casualty lead, she likes it and it seems so do the others as they don't want to be the lead Seems to be enjoying the job, paper work was hard when she first started the role after graduation but that is now easing off. She is on probation in the role for another 16'ish months. macafee2 |
All the very best to her.
Not a job I could do but absolutely vital that there are those selfless professionals out there to help us out when we need it most. Be very, very proud of her. Wishing her a long, successful and safe career. Andy. |
I second that.
