back from covid exile
Back in UK, My poor ZT-T has been sat on my sisters drive since Dec 2019 on sorn. Dead battery, flat tyres covered in mould, it had just passed it's mot with a fair bit of work and some advisories when I left it, any tips on getting it roadworthy again?

pump up the tyres, charge or change the battery, wash it.
see if the brakes are seized, see if it starts, check the advisory issues, make sure everything works as it should. what makes you say the car is not road worthy? macafee2 |
Battery charged, started first time, definite leaking hose I think from power steering, don't want to run engine too long to pump up tyres. big problem is I have no tools here. is it possible I can wrap tape around leaking hoe for temporary fix to inflate tyres?
|
sorry leaking hose coming from the oil filter I think About 1inch diameter 10 in long L shape, right at the front of engine.
|
why do you need to run the engine to pump up the tyres?

so I don't run the battery flat again. I only have an electric tyre inflator that works from the ciggy lighter.
