Thanks Andy - I can see the drain tube now - I can't get to it without taking the servo out but at least I know exactly where it is.

This one is always checked /cleaned from underneath, because.......... The servo is in the way.:D
That said, as long as the one under the ECU is clear then you are reasonably safe the plenum cannot retain water as the chamber is a single area.
NB: The one exception to this are the pre production cars that MAY have a mini bulkhead separating the bottom parts of the left and right side of the plenum. (The one S reg I checked some time ago did but my launch model doesn't)

Rain causing rust from inside
 

It's not the inside of the rubber tubes I'm worried about Dave - it's water running down the outside of them and causing the metal floor of the lower chamber to rust. You can feel the rust if you poke a finger up into the drain holes from underneath the car and you can see it on the lower sealing rim of the tubes. So how is the outside of the rubber tube getting wet in the first place? Is it because the top of the tube doesn't seat in its hole properly, so water runs under the rubber rim (see below), onto the outside of the tube and then it runs down to the lower chamber floor where it gets trapped, causing rust.
