has your driving style changed since owning your 75/zt???
bit of a strange question but my other half has said since owning my 75 the way i drive has changed.
apparantly i am now more relaxed and i don't rush around as much as i did with my zr. has this happened to anyone else???:duh: |
When not working and on long trips do just tend to hit the Cruise Control button and relax on the Journey.
rather than racing there. |
Funnily enough yes, as I now can't drive, funny how it happened only weeks after the 75 arrived....
|
Yeah. My eyes keep glancing at the petrol guage. One day I will catch it moving :biggrinsanta:
Now that I've gotten used to the 2.5 v6 rather than my 1.6 megane I have slowed down and enjoy the drive more. |
have you found yourself putting on a corduroy cap and string driving gloves?
|
Yeah...
When I had the 75 I started smoking a pipe & wearing slippers & couderoy trousers. ;) When I got the ZS it was tracky bottoms & a baseball cap on backwards. :biggrinsanta: When I got the ZT it was back to normal garb, but I do drive it aggressively & make full use of the rev range when/where I can. |
....as I reverse off the drive.
|
An absolute YES!! I used to drive ... hard. But now I am reasonably content to sit behind traffic and just enjoy the pleasure of driving. Having an auto is a boon:biggrinsanta:
For some obscure reason I don't feel the need to rush everywhere.... What a car (when she behaves:o) |

I now take my time much more than I used to... the car is a nice place to be, so what's the point in rushing? But I think changing from manual to auto is the main reason for the change in my driving style.
