Car tax scam.
 

When is someone going to stop these. Had one today from DVLA, saying my cheque has bounced on my recent tax payment. My Renault is tax free.

Did they state your registration number? Or were they hoping that send out enough spam and someone’s going to fall for it ?

I'm currently receiving notifications daily that my Norton antivirus has expired, and my PC is infected but there is a special offer on to purchase it for £49.99.
Blacklisted the address but they always come from a different address each time.

I had a scam e mail supposedly from Royal Mail, it stated that I had missed delivery of a large envelope and offered a link to arrange re delivery.

I have been having this one as well, it even came up on my phone yesterday as a text.

It seems to have been replaced by the one telling me I had free vouchers from X Y and Z.

I had one from "TV licensing" asking me to confirm my bank details as the direct debit had been declined , these people are scum and should be burned at the stake :mad:

I had one similar when i reached 75. I can't understand why we don't hear much of steps being taken to catch these criminals.:mad:
