My grey 2005 1.8 petrol Rover 75 Connoisseur SE is for sale.

MOT until 30/1/20.

84k miles.

Full service history. Last service 8/10/18 at 78k.

Head gasket was replaced, along with a new tappet set, 23k miles ago in 2016. This was done by Rover specialist Exeter Road garage in Newton Abbot.

Members of this forum will be aware of the spec for this car so I won’t list all the benefits that the Connoisseur SE provides.

The following need to be sorted to bring the car back to its former glory:

1. Air Con. Compressor belt disconnected as pump was noisy. Possibly needs new compressor if you want air con.

2. Rear drive side door can’t be opened from the inside. I believe the mechanism inside the door is broken. It opens fine from the outside.

3. Bodywork. Although there are no bent panels there are numerous scratches. I’ve photographed the worst.

4. Rear parking aid. Sometimes makes a continual noise when reversing when there’s nothing there!

None of these problems stop the car being used as a daily driver. I’m selling it as we have too many vehicles in the family and we’re running out of space on the drive!

Bargain price as I’d like an enthusiast on this forum to have the car and improve it.

If there’s no interest on the forum by 16/10/19, I’ll be putting it on ebay.
