Oil prices where next?

Where next indeed. With oil prices plunging through the floor, how long before we see a corresponding fall in petrol and diesel? The greedy fuel suppliers will not pass onto the market(car and service vehicles) until there is pressure from car owners and industry is ramped up to make them do so. With the Budget looming, it is now a good time to put some increase onto petrol and diesel by the government. Will they, won’t they, your guess is as good as mine. I know the P.M. said during the election campaign that he would not put it up, he might think now is a good time while prices are low. Any thoughts on this.?

Be careful what you wish for.

How much do you think the tax should be raised by from the current 75%?
80 , 90 , 100%. :duh:

How much tax should we put on electric vehicles as they are damaging the planet too?

Electric vehicle taxes will only start to increase when the “great unwashed “ start buying them in great numbers.

Only a matter of time before that happens , they'll have to make up the shortfall somehow

Think HMRC rake in around £28 billion a year from fuel duty. That will take a little making up from somewhere else!

Well at least there has been no rise in petrol/ diesel prices. I don’t think the £20,000 being able to put away will affect me to much,, nor being able to put £9000 into my ‘childs Account trust’. What a joke.
