What colour to paint calipers
Hi I had problems with my calipers so going to clean and overhaul them, so was wondering about giving them a coat of paint while they are off the car so looking for any suggestions as to which colour would look nice on an anthracite ZTT with straights ?
Thanks |
I painted my green to match the bodywork on my ZTT, green might look nice as a contrast.

If you want them to look nice paint them red, if you want them to blend in with most others paint them a rust colour:D:D

I always go body colour although my Typhoon had XPower bright green which were surprisingly effective!

Colour
I've got an anthracite zt with straights and I'm gonna paint mine red with some mg decals on them ;) this is when I get my refurbed alloys back anyway :)

Also gonna clean up the hubs and give them a coat of silver to blend them in a bit

Here are some photos of the silver callipers which I had on my 75 I used to own.

Just refurbing a set myself at the moment and I think I'm going to paint mine red. I've found some caliper decals as well which I thought I might put on in silver. These will be on my primertallic silver ZTT.
Though of red because some MGFs had 4 pot calipers fitted and they were red with a white MG logo, they look good :cool: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3816498628...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-Brake-C...YAAMXQoYJSJFV1 Some for the Rover too http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-Brak...gAAMXQoYJSIMQo |
Fusiliers blue callipers look stunning , some of the best I've seen :}
