Ignition off, headlights go off
I have only had it six years and just noticed if your stop the engine and leave the headlights on it switches them off after a few seconds, just leaving the parking lights on. ;)

This is enabled on the T4 so if your head lights are on, you can turn the engine off then turn the head lights off and it goes off automatically after about 30 seconds. It is a handy feature :D

The idea is to give you some light to get the house key in the front door.
As Ravinder says, it can be switched on/off by a T4, or if you back up the drive, you can have the tail lights enabled, instead. ;) |

Or am I the only person who reverses in and drives out? Quote:

The BCU can leave any light turned on: main beam, dipped beam, Rear lights, STOP ligts, even reg plate number light or instrument cluster dials

This was my leaving the lighting switch on, in the headlight position and switching the engine off - the headlights turned themselves off after a few seconds, leaving the parking lights still on. |
