Malware site?

Since yesterday, everytime I visit this forum, my phones AVG antivirus software is warning me that malware is detected, and that this forum has been reported as having malware.

Does it? Has it?

I had a similar message flash up on my MacBook Pro with McAfee blocking access. To overcome the problem of being locked out, I had to add this website to the firewall settings. I ran an update and a scan, which did not show anything suspicious.

Wasn't there a similar issue a while ago. Something on the site / host needed renewing. I could be wrong but rings a bell.

I'm also getting the same message, I only use the free Avast so I've uninstalled it, no threats according to Malwarebytes

I once had a similar problem, turned out it was a virus telling me I had a virus. Which of course was true. 😁

It might be the Tapatalk extension, which previously has triggered some third party AV solutions.

Google chrome is flagging the site as insecure - giving this advice - as it was not doing this 48 hours ago something has happened to the web page/site ?

The site isn't using a private connection. Someone might be able to see or change the information you send or get through this site.

On some sites, you can visit a more secure version of the page:

Select the address bar.
Delete http://, and enter https:// instead.
If that doesn't work, contact the site owner to ask that they secure the site and your data with HTTPS.

I think the issue is that some pages are hosting objects which are being fetched by plain HTTP despite the page itself using HTTPS. this leads to warnings that the page isn't completely secure.

I've been having this for about 2 weeks on both google and microsoft edge, both saying its a risky site.
