Wing mirror
Hi All.
My nearside mirror is broken. And I can't get one for love nor money. Even Rimmers can't get one, so I was wondering whether or not a mirror off a left hand drive would be okay or not,as that is all that is out there. Any one able to help. |
what type of mirror is it?
|
Just a normal folding mirror with heated wiring for the glass

Sorry forgot to say.
It's for a Rover 75, 04 plate diesel auto. |
04, not sure but there may be two types that fit that car, skull cap and bullet. Hopefully someone can give a definitive bit of advice.
what is wrong with yours? macafee2 |
What type skull or bullet
Hi Michael
There are two types of manual mirrors skull cap and bullet so you need to say which you have, most likely scull cap on an 04 plate Rover 75. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...or&_sacat=6030 |
Hi macafee2
The cogs inside seem to be broken, had bought what I thought were the parts I needed to repair but was wrong and don't want to waste money on something else in case it doesn't work. So am looking for a full unit. |

There are two shapes of mirror on the Rover 75 1 Bullet 2 Skullcap Bullet were usually on early models. Skullcap tend to be on the later ones. This is not written in stone as they are interchangeable Then both types have a manual folding system or and electric motor folding system (powerfold). You have a much better chance of finding what you want if you can clarify which one of the 4 variants you require :) |
