2005 MG ZT-T CDTi 135+ Auto. ***SOLD***

2005 MG ZT-T CDTi 135+ Auto, 124,300 miles. ***SOLD***

My ZT-T is one of the very last, coming off assembly on the 5th April 2005, and was a sold customer order heading for Malaysia. According to the build records, it is the last ZT-T to be built in Pearl Black, being the 437th of 437 and is also believed to be the last automatic diesel ZT-T ever built.

Factory options: 18” 11 spoke alloy wheels, electric sunroof, rear parking sensors, trip computer, (does have the vertical lines on the screen) auto dimming rear view mirror, power fold door mirrors and electric front seats with drivers seat memory.

I have owned the vehicle for 15 years and will be very sorry to see it go. It has never let us down and has been in daily use. A lot of the 75/ZT foibles have been attended to, so the sunroof drains have been modified, Viteon intercooler ‘O’ rings fitted, along with the plenum shield and gold fan resistor.

The car comes with an extensive history file, two keys and original handbook.

I don’t want to sell the car, but with a 75 as well, I can’t afford to keep them both mechanically and cosmetically to the standard I’d like. The proceeds of this sale will be put into the jobs that need doing on the 75.

The car is not pristine and will need cosmetic fettling as it has been in daily use and is 19 years old. There are some other issues that will need attending to straight away: The bonnet had become tricky to open, will not now close and new bonnet struts are also needed. The brake pad warning light has come on - the front discs and pads are fine having been changed in February 2023 at 119,571 miles, so it is the rears that require attention or a sensor problem.

The last service was done in February 2023 and included the PCV filter and a brake fluid change. The gearbox oil was last changed in October 2021. MOT until 01/09/2024. £1800.

The vehicle is located in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
