Boot Lid (Could be a daft question)?
ok Found one local that I want (seems good but its Mk1 not Mk2 which would be better)
Will it fit on the back seats ? (waits for some one to say no it goes on top of the boot) Will the Small spoiler on a MK2 fit on the MK1 easy enough? Cheers Andy |
I have carried a mk1 boot lid ( no spoiler) on the rear seats in my ZT okay ..
and I have a boomerang spoiler fitted as well as the lip one. actually fitted the lip spoiler to a boomer boot lid off a 190 . ---------------------------------- Quote:

Yes, i moved one recently. It fits fine. Wider end on the floor in front of the seat bench, rest the other end on the seat back.
If its a mk1 going onto a mk2 car change the lock mechanism over otherwise it wont unlock when holding down the button on the key. This will mean the lock barrel will be unconnected. The spoiler will fit but you will also need to change the electronics underneath that control the numberplate lights. They are bonded on quite well. Be careful not to crack the PCB when removing. |
where you getting that from Andy,Marshalls or Pringle's?
|
Probably too far away for you but I believe SMC in Essex have some brand new boot lids for mk 2s some in colour rather than primer.
