A factory produced Rover Van
This caught my eye just now.
Not a 75; 25 based maybe. I didn't know they even existed. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184875053...gAAOSwj~dgr5KB Regards Mike |

There is not many about but they do pop up occasionally as either a rover commerce or the MG Express version

Got a Red Commerce diesel at the Garage where i part time .. :D
|
I owned a wrecked trophy blue express myself, stripped it and converted my streetwise into a van.
Thing was so practical being a 5 door. Later sold it but boy I regretted doing so. |
My son trained in a Rover dealership back in the day, they had one to deliver parts.

People don't realise they actually had a few extra features. The rear end welding was done again and had extra mounts for the floor panels, and rear boot subframe.

Rover Commerce and MG ZR Express Vans
We currently have one of each of these vans.
I own the MG ZR Express van which is a silver one with a 1.8VVC engine which is very rate; when I bought this 2/3 years ago there were only 59 registered. This is totally original. The 25 Commerce van is currently under restoration. It is a diesel version which someone had modified to look like a ZR. We are going to continue the modification but sympathetically with ZR seats and ZR alloy wheels, mainly because we can't change the front bumper which is from a ZR model. Both these vehicle will be available for sale in the not too distant future. |
Didn't Rover test the MGF running gear clothed in express van bodies? Perfect camouflage. :}

The mgf 'mules' were metro vans and pickups
