75 diesel inlet manifold
Has anyone got any idea how to remove the clag in the inlet manifold that it reducing the size of the manifold tubes by about 25%. I have tried soaking in warm, soapy water overnight but with little or no success.

What he said ^ but have plenty of rags and hand cleaner to hand 'cause it's a bit of a messy process. Whilst you're at it give the EGR valve the same treatment, or blank it, Arctic has a good ' How to '. Neither will turn it into a racehorse, but the improved smoothness and pickup qualities are quite noticeable. |
Mr Muscle spray oven cleaner is very good.

It is a nice drive from Flint to our next meet on October 3rd at Wolverhampton. Why not drop Artic (Steve) a message and ask if he will exchange the manifold and egr for you at the meet. Does not take long , and much cleaner and easier than attempting to do it yourself. It’s a filthy job.

Failing that I have a spare so that you can use your car while cleaning yours? (Or vice versa)
