Hi I have a legacy MG diagnostic disk, which if you go into the files says DST0006V for the software version. I also have the vehicle interface for legacy MG vehicles and for GDS for the NAC TFs. I have a toughbook with XP on the way. Is it just a RDS disk that I need to find now?

Yes RDS will interface with that but will only work on the MG/Rover range, the NAC TF requires different software.

Thank you, that is what I want, I have no need for NAC TF, I know that the NAC TF requires GDS. Is there a version of RDS that I require? There is a 5.06 version on ebay but its listed as Land Rover RDS.

Ideally you need the MG/Rover version RDS 5.06R, the Landy one will work but you may have additional work involved to get it going.

Brian should be able help with any configuration changes that may be required.
