Holy water? It's holy water, isn't it!

Well, I'll share my little secret with you. The product is Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Treatment. Don't go mad with it, use sparingly. It buffs up a treat.

What the ****** norah did you use on it? Every surface looks totally pristine. Share your wisdom, O great one

Trust me, the answer is in this text!! :D

It's dressing. Slightly oily stuff that makes your plastic look good. Available from most shops where they sell car-care stuff (like halfords).

Yep, that's what I use aswell.... And Meguiars Cleaner Polish on the paintwork.....

Most interesting, thank you! I'll pick up a bottle. I've tried all sorts and never gotten under-bonnet plastics to look much better!

If they are really bad due to lack of TLC then it will take a good few goes before they come up nice.....

today I fitted a new pollen filter ,the old one looked like it was full of coal dust

MangoMan 9th March 2014 14:49

There are 2 types of Pollen Filter - the plain type which are almost white when new,

and the Carbon Activated type, which start off dark grey to start with....

So don't be too surprised if your old one is black..... ;)
