I've added the part numbers and yes the physical size. 2.5s are for laptops and other smaller devices.
regards

May I add for you............
.......... that a case can be bought for the 2.5" Sata (cheaply from Amazon)
Then you have the perfect smal external drive.
Ken.

Ahh laptop hard drives if you posted these a couple of weeks ago I would have bought one but not. You can get case adapters for 2.5" drives to run in a computer tower, with adapter for about £15-20! aren't you the one that posted on the pug forums?

I have lots of ali cases that I bought from the bay/amazon etc.... all have been very usedful and reliable. Maybe I should have bought new cases and sold them as a ready to use storage ...

Would have been a better idea as long as you could get the price point to under £40 ( there is lots for sale for that price).

fair enough dude, I've got collections of anything between Cyrix, Pentium Pro era up to i5's, graphics, sound, hard disk cards (SSD's), memory and hard disks in my storage room, I could probably start a business. As the markets such a fast moving one, hardware is pretty hard to shift I think. but I do sell old stuff occasionally, but usually when I go to fix studio computers in the music industry. (there is a lot of old hardware running because of compatibility issues).
