A not so common sight.

It's rare to spot a Rover 200 coupe on the road these days but I was fortunate enough to see 14 of them together on Saturday at the RCOC Christmas meet.Yes I know it's mid January but that is when it is held each year :}.About half of us met up earlier at a cafe on the A45 in Wawickshire followed by a spirited 35 mile thrash in covoy through the country lanes of Warwickshire/Northamptonshire where we rendezviewed with the rest at the Green Man pub near Silverstone.

Here are a few pic's of the meet.

I do miss having a coupe.... but they will always have a little space in my heart :)

Fantastic to see :D I luv these cars.

I've actually never owned a 200 Coupe, and I dont really understand why. I must have missed the boat at some point. I would have been wrapped up in the Japanese imported stuff I guest. :shrug:

If the right one came up, I would make it mine... :D

That's a nice sight, I bet the twisty roads were fun.

It was brilliant Andy.The lead coupe had a rear facing video camera attached to the roof so when the footage gets posted I'll transfer it onto here :}

Great pictures, Mick. Sorry I couldn’t make it. I should be at POL. Hopefully, once Jimm is done with mine, I’ll have my coupe back later this year. I do miss driving her...:(

I owned two coupes before getting my first ZT.

First was a Silver 216 coupe (K series), my 2nd was an Amaranth 218VVC ('99 T plate) with full leather. Lovely cars, especially with the roof panels removed. The VVC used to shift and handle well, was lovely to drive - on a smooth road. Not the greatest on rough roads as they were rather stiffly sprung.

I'd always liked the look of them and wanted one. Still like the look of them.

Great photos. I loved my VVC Coupe and it's probably the car I wish the most I had kept.

Almost everyone who has owned one and sold it on has l regretted it.
I think I am safely past that stage now having owned it for 18 years :D

There’s a few convertibles which was based on the Coupe in Malta.

I had a Saloon version a few years back, the model code was R8. Used before Audi used it on their sports coupe.
