Diesel hose split and leaking

Earlier this morning Mrs Andy returned home panicking because diesel was coming out of the car and 'pouring' down the road. I was having a lie in which was swiftly ended:duh:

Turns out the fuel hose between the under bonnet fuel pump & diesel filter has a split near the pump jubilee clip. Probably the last 1/4 mile home she'd smelt diesel and then by the time she'd parked in our road there was a bit of a mess. It appeared to look worse due to the wet road, though there was stream in the gutter. She popped to the corner shop to get some cat litter to mop it up, whilst I shortened the fuel hose and re-terminated it. Luckily there is enough length.

The offending part is no. 12 here:

but appears obsolete any ideas?

The rubber hoses do appear to be showing signs of perishing so could do with a replacement.
I'm thinking of getting some standard diesel hose from my local shop and just replacing it, though this wont have the pre set bends.
Does this work ok?

Hi Andrew.
Yes they will all need doing sooner or later, another one that can get damaged and leak is the one which rests on the hot metal pipe.

Standard diesel hose should work.

Cheers Steve. :} I'll check that one too.
I've bought a metre of hose and some jubilee clips, I've got some time on Tuesday so I'll get swapped what I can, assuming it doesn't rain...
