Managed to do the right hand side one on my car yesterday.

Used a couple of standard ring spanners.

Much easier to do with the track rod end ball joint unbolted.

The hardest part of the job...

You tend to get problems with sockets that work...

You tend to get problems with sockets that work off the corners of the nut or bolt if they are not a good fit.

In that case a six sided socket is best as you will never shear that much metal...
