Thanks for the advice - tried the upgrade disc and the system just refused to recognise it.......I will have to buy a BMW unit!

Well, it took a while but finally a HUGE box of stuff arrived on my doorstep.
I now have:
Two head units (plus the other one I bought...)

I was worried that the dash wiring might have been butchered to fit the non-standard Sony radio/cd unit that's in there at present.
