I too think it more likely to be a duff coil pack. Had similar on a previous V6. Get an odb2 connector and app to try to determine the fault code or let a T4 guru ply their magic

So only the clutch was changed and not the slave cylinder within the bell housing?

From your description it sounds like you slave has gone. If this was replaced with the clutch I'd get the garage...

Yes I managed to get an AP clutch and a LUK slave, after returning a couple for about £160 add in some oil and some new pinch bolts yes nearly £200.

The point was on costs on getting it...
