Exhaust Manifold removal question

Hello all.

Could I ask a question:::: Would you have to remove the exhaust manifold to replace the cylinder head gasket. I am no mechanic just like to know.

Or can it be left in situ

Yea I know guys...The garage gets you over a barrel. I have thrown a lot of money at it.

Yes carried out a demister test fan motor works fine...and no I have not checked the temp yet on the gauge.

I have just noticed that it slips in high gear from 3rd to 4th just slightly..pulls away in 1/ 2 ok....had a new clutch 54 k ago 2015..

Might get some more use from it if I nurse it along..

Well guys I got my bricks I had to do it in 2 runs 40 miles away. first one 153 @ 2 kgs each 306 kgs and second one today 160 @ 2kgs 320 kgs.

Admittedly I had to spread them out they were 3 rows...

MAX: rear axle load all models mine is an estate 1000kgs 2205 lbs it cant mean the driver as well there is no mention of that.

The bricks are 2 kgs each x 350 off...

Fuel pump Costs

I have just spent over £650 on a fuel pump and filter,,These are getting rare so the garages know it and charge more.

Do not ever ever run the fuel low it will burn out the pump as I have I learnt.

Clonking found peace at last.

I have found where the clonking sound is coming from, Right under the gear lever area where I thought it came is the exhaust pipe and it just clears a cross member on the body work by about 3cm....
